-Tucker wanted Luba to bring her hammer to the table, but he didn't mention that when the conversation started. All he said was "How about Luba?" Mike responded by miming the act of a hammer smash, and that's when the let's-figure-this-out conversation ended. You don't fuck with fate.
-Instead of diving right in, Mike scribbled some ideas into his notebook--should Batman accidently respond to Gotham's newly installed Hammer Signal as it hits the night sky, only for Luba to tell him his presence isn't required--but then he came up with the sculpting idea and dived right in.
