Definitely, yes, completely...there is no way I could agree more. You guys are doing justice to this in spades.

Morrison's Bat-Ninjas story is one of the smartest things in his entire run on Batman-- a gallery of PopArt sub-Lichenstein comic book paintings plays hosts to a comic book, the characters of which use the sound effects and thought balloons of the paintings to express their reactions within the story. It's formally brilliant and really, really reminiscent of that amazing Clowes cover for An Anthology of Graphic Action, etc, Vol 2.
