Why do Americans always say Mickey Mouse all weird? Mickeymouse you call him, as if Mickey isn't a name but an adjective or something.
It's always baffled me.

Prose IS a bit superior to comics as far as getting into our heads go. When you read prose, you have to imagine the images being described and how people look when they react etc. A Prose book can get INTO you head. A movie or a comic has the images as a sort of barrier. The images show us how people look and their faces show us how they feel in very simple terms. They laugh or they cry or Jimmy Stewart tells us his life story with his eyes. Is prose better? I don't know, but it does effect us in a different deeper way.
Also, I hate animated cartoon Mickey also and never read the comics.
