I can't believe I have this information in my head, but if I remember correctly, the Green Ranger is the White Ranger...he went through some kind of special upgrading process and got extra powers or something and his outfit turned White.
I haven't googled this or anything so my memory could actually be totally wrong, but this seems like something best left to memory and not researched.

You're right about the Green/White Ranger thing, Jason. Since then the show alternates between black and green rangers off and on. I hate myself for knowing this.
Liked the discussion on westerns. I haven't read many myself, but I'd love to see more of Howard Nostrand. Also I guess it's more psychedelia than western, but I adore those Dope Rider comics.
