On this week's episode of the only movie podcast in the world, Tucker is joined by Tim Hodler. Check it out after the break!
This week, Tucker and Tim start things off by talking about the television show Watchmen, which Tucker has not seen.
He has however seen the movie Watchmen and read Doomsday Clock, so they talk about that. Of course, that leads to...
A discussion of the Snyder Cut, why Man of Steel rules and haters just don't think good. And if there's one thing that haters hate, it's...
Books, even if those books are full of violence and worms. Giant worms! Worms for everybody's pillows! Jack Reacher knows what kind of circle walking produces food!

what were those bare knuckle books you were referencing?

I think the bare-knuckle fighting book you guys are talking about is 'Donnybrook' by Frank Brill. I'm pretty sure Pollock did a blurb for the cover. It was actually turned into a movie this year. And I think it's a pretty good movie, you guys should review it on the podcast. James Badge Dale is in it.
And since I'm recommending stuff, Jonas Akerlund's latest would make for good podcast material.
LORDS OF CHAOS is a musical biopic about the trve Norwegian black metal assholes of the 90s
And POLAR is a Netflix comic book movie starring Mads Mikkelsen and Vanessa Hudgens with a confusing ending.
Even if you end up hating these movies, there's good jokes to be made about both of them.

I only watched half of the Shazam movie because I became tired and bored. Thus, I went to bed. I don't know if I will ever watch the rest of it.

Yes, Donnybrook is the right book. Thanks. I must've misremembered based on the blurb.
Also, I don't know if I said it clearly enough, but I meant to say that the Watchmen tv show would either turn out to be really good or really bad depending on what happened later. And a few episodes later, it's pretty clear it's really bad.
