After the break, check out the latest episode of Comic Books Are Burning In Hell, the first and only podcast to cover the medium of comic books, an art form available to many yet practiced by few.
This week, the boys are taking a look at Ex.Mag #1, published by PEOW--an anthology of cyberpunk comics by a laundry list of creators, while Chris and Matt are breaking down their innermost on Perramus, the latest hardcover of Alberto Breccia comics put out by Fantagraphics.
You can take a look at Perramus: The City and Oblivion along with a lot of the books we talk about on this show on our Bookshop page. If you purchase any of the books, the podcast will receive an affiliate fee, which will go towards paying the monthly hosting fee for the podcast. (You can grab that Ex.Mag right from PEOW!)On Twitter, you can keep up with the boys at @factualopinion, @snubpollard, @mattseneca and @cmautner.
Here's the whole album that kicks off with the song Joe mentions at the open - well worth a listen, one of my favs as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCq0P509UL4

Like some of you...I am half way through Paramus and am starting to wonder if I can finish it. I have read some Borges though, and enjoy his existence in the comic...and the world.

The upcoming Breccia Library book, The Eternaut 1969, is more accurately described as a remake/reinterpretation of the original comic rather than a sequel. (There have been sequels to The Eternaut, but the Breccia book basically tells the same story as the original Solano López-drawn book.)
